(Undated) — The Illinois Elks Association and Illinois Elks South District are donating nearly 48-thousand dollars to Southern Illinois organizations. The donations went to various veterans’ groups and helped pay for PTSD service dogs, and Honor Flights. Donations were also made to Haven House, for Honor Wreaths for Veterans, and for televisions for Anna Veteran’s Home. Money raised also went toward the national Elks organization’s donation to preserve, restore, and modernize the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
