(Undated) – Crawford Memorial Hospital has announced a new tool in the fight against COVID-19. High-risk patients with mild to moderate cases of COVID-19 can now take advantage of “coronavirus antibody therapy” treatment at CMH. According to Crawford Memorial Hospital CEO, Doug Florkowski, this is a very promising treatment for eligible patients and a major milestone in our community’s fight against this virus. The treatment is available to COVID-positive patients ages 12 and older who have certain risk factors. The treatment is offered intravenously on an outpatient basis and requires a provider referral. To learn more tune in to Civic Interest this morning at 10 am, I’ll be talking with CMH Director of Pharmacy, Blake Potts.
