(Undated) – Following a wet and rainy end to our weekend the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning through early tomorrow. Here at the Classic Hits, WTYE studio we recorded just over two inches of rain for the weekend. That coupled with the already saturated ground due to the melting snow is expected to lead to minor flooding through Wednesday on the Little Wabash River near Clay City and through Saturday on the Embarras River near Lawrenceville. Minor flooding is also possible at Sainte Marie on the Embarras River today and tomorrow. The current forecast for the area looks sunny and dry for the week, so things should be allowed to dry out fairly quickly. Stay tuned to Classic Hits, WTYE, for the latest weather information.
