(Undated) – March is Red Cross Month. The Red Cross continues to feel the “pinch” of COVID-19 and the recent winter storms and blood donations remain essential to ensure the health of the community. More donors, especially those with type O blood, are needed now to ensure that patients have lifesaving blood products available for emergencies and everyday medical treatments. The Red Cross is celebrating blood, platelet, and plasma donors for stepping up to meet the constant need amid the pandemic. In thanks, all who come to give March 15th-26th will receive an exclusive Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last. Your next chance to donate is coming up tomorrow at Hutsonville High School from 2 pm-6 pm. They will be at Palestine High School on March 31st from 12:30 pm-5:30 pm.
