(Undated) – As spring weather arrives the DNR is promoting fishing safety. DNR Conservation Police Captain, John Williamson, says he has seen an uptick in the number of boats on the water and he encourages fishermen to check regulations.
He also reminds boaters to make sure they have life jackets on board and that all motorboats are in good working condition. He also points out, those fishing licenses expire at the end of the month so if you need your license renewed, visit dnr.illinois.gov.
