Stormy Weather Forecast Through Tomorrow

(Undated) – We could be in for some stormy weather the next several hours. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, a few thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening with small hail, frequent lightning, and “torrential downpours.” A risk for severe weather exists during the evening hours tonight, particularly southeast of a line from Mount Vernon to Effingham to Paris. West to northwest winds gusting 45 to 55 mph is expected and could down tree limbs and cause local power outages this evening into early tomorrow morning.
