(Undated) – COVID-19 continues to be a factor in the current high school football season. OPH will have a week off this week as their game with Tremont has been officially canceled. According to OPH Head Coach, Nick Straka, Tremont is out of OPH’s “COVID Region” and as such the two teams could not get IDPH approval to play in a “high-risk sport.” There has been a question mark on this weekend’s game since the season schedule was announced. Straka says they will now turn all of their focus to next week’s opponent, Lawrenceville. OPH continues to look for their first win of the season. The RHS Maroons will take their 3-0 mark on the road Friday against Paris.
