(Undated) — The Illinois Department of Public Health says the majority of current COVID-19 hospitalizations are people who haven’t been vaccinated. IDPH Executive Director, Dr. Ngozi Ezike, spoke yesterday and encouraged people to get the vaccine. According to the IDPH, only seventy-two of the more than two-point-five-million Illinoisans vaccinated have been hospitalized with COVID-19. The Crawford County Health Department is currently reporting three hospitalizations related to COVID-19 as well as thirty-nine current “active” cases in the county.
