(Robinson) – The Robinson Maroons will take their perfect record on the road tonight to Paris in gridiron action. At the halfway point of this pandemic shortened six-game season RHS is 3-0 following wins over Casey, Newton, and Lawrenceville. The Maroons will be the only county team in action tonight. The OPH game in Tremont was canceled. OPH Head Coach, Nick Straka, says Tremont is out of OPH’s “COVID Region” and as such the two teams could not get IDPH approval to play in a “high-risk sport.” OPH will be back in action a week from today when they face Lawrenceville. There will be no playoffs or state title this season as a result of the ongoing pandemic.
