Three “Vote by Mail” Ballots Still Outstanding

(Undated) – Just three ballots stand in the way of officially declaring a winner in Tuesday race for Robinson Mayor. According to Crawford County Clerk, Fayrene Wright, at last count they were still waiting on three outstanding “vote by mail” ballots.
Wright says even though they must offer fourteen days, the results can be certified as soon as all outstanding ballots are accounted for.
However, Wright says historically they rarely get all of the “vote by mail” ballots back. If the final vote total is close, the losing candidate does have the right to ask for a recount.
