Bomb Threat Leads to Two Arrests in Vincennes

(Vincennes, In) – A group text between three Sodexo employees working at Vincennes Lincoln High School led to the arrests of two of the employees. According to authorities, they were made aware of a possible bomb threat around 9:30 yesterday morning. Vincennes City Police say sixty-year-old Rudy Loewen had supposedly sent a three-way group text stating to “call in a bomb threat” for the school’s Administration building prompting forty-two-year-old Erica Davis, to allegedly texted “NOW” in capital letters. An unidentified third person on the group conversation believed the threat to be real and called the authorities. Both Loewen and Davis are charged with intimidation and false informing. Both were booked in the Knox County Jail. The Vincennes Police Department determined there was no credible threat to the School Corporation or community.
