(Robinson) – Despite holding the lead for much of the game, the RHS Lady Maroons came up short against Flora yesterday for a 7-6 final. Trailing by three going into the fifth, Flora put up four runs and pulled ahead adding two more in the sixth. A late rally by Robison came up short as the Maroons could only muster two runs in the bottom of the seventh. Callie Dickerson took the loss for RHS pitching five innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, and striking out eight. With the loss, the Lady Maroons fall to 8-4 on the season, 3-1 in the LIC. They will be back in action this afternoon for a 4:30 contest against Marshall.
