(Oblong) – The Oblong Panthers watched the game go from bad to worse yesterday on their way to a 20-0 shutout at the hands of North Clay. They took the lead in the first inning. However, the game got out of hand in the third when they hung up sixteen runs on the Panthers. Jon Littlejohn took the loss for Oblong allowing ten runs on eight hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Oblong falls to 2-9 on the season and will be back at it this afternoon on the road at Martinsville.
