“Phase 5” Means a Return to “Normal”

(Undated) – It’s back to “normal” across Illinois today. State health officials and Governor, JB Pritzker, say the state’s coronavirus numbers are low enough to end restrictions and public health requirements. The move to “Phase 5” of the “Restore Illinois” plan means businesses, shops, restaurants, and all sorts of other places can return to full capacity. State health officials are still recommending masks for those who are unvaccinated, and for everyone on public transportation, or in group facilities. Businesses and venues are encouraged to continue social distancing practices, and can still impose health restrictions they determine are appropriate.
