(Undated) – The Class of 2021 will be the last class that has to take the SAT or ACT to get into an Illinois university. Governor, J.B. Pritzker, last week signed a law that ends the requirement for a standardized test in Illinois. Democrats pushed the plan as a way to open up the U of I and other Illinois universities to students who may not take tests well. The ACT and SAT will now be optional admission for Illinois colleges and universities.
