(Undated) – The case of two local teenagers who reportedly attacked an elderly Hutsonville man will be handled by a special prosecutor. In a statement released yesterday by Crawford County State’s Attorney, Cole Shaner, to avoid any potential conflict of interest for any parties involved, his office will not be handling the case. Instead, per standard practice, a special prosecutor will handle the prosecution of the matter from start to finish. Shaner also reminds the public that as the defendants are juveniles, no names or information can be released to the public. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
