County Board Set to Revisit Cost of Feasibility Study to Move Courthouse

(Undated) – The Crawford County Board meets tonight and they have a handful of items on the agenda. In “Old Business,” is the tabled discussion regarding the cost of a “feasibility study” to relocate the Crawford County Annex and Courthouse to the former Regions Bank location. The board will discuss getting estimates for the cost of the study. In “New Business,” the board will look to approve the moving of the voting location of LaMotte 1 to the Palestine Municipal Building. They will also look at an ordinance for a two-year agreement to pay Bellwether to administer the “American Rescue Plan Act” for Crawford County, utilizing ARPA funds. The Crawford County Board is also set to reappoint Hope Weber as the Crawford County Assessor. The Crawford County Board meets this evening at 6 pm in the Courthouse Annex.
