(Oblong) – Junior high and high school students in need of a more one-on-one educational experience in a “home schooled” setting will have an option in the coming school year. According to Keith Kemp, August 2021 will mark the opening of Main Street Micro.
Kemp, the former administrator/teacher at New Life Academy on the campus of the Oblong Children’s Christian Home, has been renovating space at 103 W Main in Oblong, preparing the environment for students this fall. Kemp says many parents are looking for an option outside of public schools and Main Street Micro is the option. An open house is planned for August 1st, from 2 pm-4 pm. The school year for Main Street Micro will begin on August 23rd.
