(Undated) – The Red Cross continues to “sound the alarm” regarding a blood shortage. Red Cross spokesperson, Drew Brown, says many people have stepped up, but they need more donations.
Right now the Red Cross needs to collect more than 1,000 additional blood donations each day to meet current demand. Brown says in most cases, those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine can donate. Find the drive nearest you by visiting redcrossblood.org.
