(Undated) – While many parts of the nation are battling drought conditions, here in this area we have seen no shortage of rain. Here at the Classic Hits, WTYE, studio, we have recorded nearly nine inches of rain for the month, the majority of which was recorded on July 11th, July 16th, and July 17th. We recorded nearly six inches of rain on those three days. The largest single-day total came on July 16th when we recorded nearly two and a half inches of rain. WTYE continues to be the official weather recording and reporting station in Robinson for the National Weather Service.
