Robinson Man Sentenced to 15 Years on Meth Charges

(Undated) – A pair of Robinson residents were recently sentenced to time in the IDOC on unrelated charges. According to Crawford County State’s Attorney, Cole Shaner, thirty-nine-year-old Jodi Estep was sentenced to four years in the IDOC on a Class 3 Felony charge of Aggravated Battery. Shaner also reports that twenty-seven-year-old Zachary Simmers was sentenced to fifteen years in the IDOC followed by a year and a half of mandatory supervised release on the Class X Felony charge of Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the prosecution of both cases.
