(Undated) – High heat and humidity plus the chance of showers and thunderstorms will be a part of our forecast for the next several days. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, heat indices around 105 are expected this afternoon and evening. Scattered thunderstorms are also possible this afternoon and evening bringing a threat of localized flash flooding with the strongest storms. The hot and humid conditions are expected again tomorrow with heat indices of around 105. Triple-digit “feels-like” temperatures are forecast to stick around through at least Saturday, although forecast afternoon heat indices are around 100.
