Investigation Continues into Labor Day Weekend Damage in Palestine

(Palestine) – The investigation into Labor Day weekend damage to the park and rodeo arena in Palestine continues. According to the Palestine Police Department, there was a significant amount of damage to the bathrooms at both Leaverton Park and the rodeo arena including busted sinks, toilets, and urinal drain lines. Other damage included tipped over port-a-potties and soda machines. Palestine Police Chief, Jeff Besing, says that they are still seeking solid evidence that might lead to arrests. If you saw something or captured something on security video, you are asked to contact the Palestine Police Department or Crawford County Crime Stoppers. There is a one-thousand dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest.
