(Hutsonville) – The Hutsonville School Board is set to meet next week and one item on the agenda is their amended Re-Opening Plan. The Hutsonville Unit 1 School District is currently in “probation” status with the Illinois State Board of Education as a result of their non-compliance with the state’s current mask mandate. Hutsonville has been a longtime advocate of “local control” and as such Hutsonville Superintendent, Julie Kramer, issued a release yesterday joining with several Superintendents across the state expressing concern of the current mandates and advocating for local control.
