(Undated) – The second distribution of taxes will be available for all taxing bodies beginning tomorrow. According to Crawford County Treasurer, Twyla Bailey, they will be distributing around 13 million dollars. If checks are not picked up they will be mailed on September 24th. If you have not yet paid your property or mobile homes taxes, you are reminded that tax bills can be paid by mail, at any of the area banks, the drop-off box at the front of the Annex building, or in person at the Treasurer’s office Monday-Friday 8 am to 4 pm. Reminder letters will go out next week, certified letters will be sent the week of October 4th, names will be published October 23rd, and the Tax Sale will be November 10th.
