(Undated) – A report of an accident on Route 33 led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, they received a report of an accident on Route 33 Sunday that turned out to be an abandoned vehicle. Rutan says one of the vehicles at the scene had been reported stolen out of Effingham County in March. The Effingham County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
