(Robinson) – The RHS Girls Cross Country Team won yesterday’s Little Illini Conference meet with 42 points, edging out Marshall who scored 43. Top finishers for the Lady Maroons were Katelyn Jones who finished 3rd, Ella Tingley, and Quinn Wesley finished 6th and 7th respectively. Rylee Young finished 14th and Leighanna Welsh came in 16th. Head Coach, Tony Cork, says their 6 and 7 runners, Sophie Stark and Brynn Forman, finished ahead of Marshall’s fifth runner adding two points to Marshall’s score and winning the meet for Robinson. The RHS Boys finished second to Newton. Scoring for the Maroons was Austin Wesley in 2nd, Donnie Tillman finished in 6th, Noah Gilmore came in 6th, Caleb McNary and Elijah Robb finished 24th and 26th. Earning All-Conference honors were Austin Wesley, Katelyn Jones, Ella Tingley, Donnie Tillman, and Quinn Wesley.
