(Undated) – A new study makes it clear that most Americans did not make healthy choices during the pandemic. According to researchers at UCLA, Americans drank and smoked more, exercised less, and spent more time in front of the TV or computer after the pandemic hit. They found alcohol consumption increased by twenty-three percent and smoking by nine percent, compared to pre-pandemic levels. Exercise fell by almost a third and screen time jumped by sixty percent. The study says almost eighty percent of Americans looked at a screen for more than four hours a day during the pandemic.
