(Undated) – If you heat your home with natural gas you will likely see a rise in winter heating prices. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says inflation on natural gas and other fuels will lead to an increase in heating bills of as much as fifty-four percent. Ameren Illinois is warning their customers of the hikes ahead of time, encouraging them to turn down the thermostat or face costly bills. The director of communications for Ameren says this will likely be the most expensive season since 2008.
