Gas Price Now Above $3 a Gallon Everywhere in the U.S.

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to march upward, reaching the highest levels in recent years. According to GasBuddy.com, the current national average has climbed more than a dollar a gallon since the beginning of the year to the highest level in seven years. The current national average for regular unleaded is up to $3.37 a gallon, compared to $2.34 a gallon in January. In fact, gas now costs more than three dollars a gallon everywhere in the U.S. after the statewide average in Oklahoma ticked up to $3.01 a gallon. California still has some of the highest prices with a statewide average of $4.56 a gallon. Here in Illinois, it’s $3.49 a gallon. It’s $3.35 across the river in Indiana.
