(Undated) – Just over forty-two percent of Crawford County is now fully vaccinated. The Crawford County Health Department reported yesterday that seven-thousand-nine-hundred-one people in Crawford County have been fully vaccinated. To date, the CCHD has administered sixteen-thousand-one-hundred-four COVID-19 vaccinations. That number could climb quickly as Illinois officials are preparing for young children to receive the vaccine. Emergency-use authorization is expected soon from the CDC and the FDA. Governor, JB Pritzker, says the authorization for children between five and eleven years old could come by the middle of next week. Illinois is set to receive 306-thousand vaccine doses to help with the effort to vaccinate the young.
