Freeze Coming to Illinois

(Undated) – Parts of Illinois could see freezing temperatures soon. According to Illinois State Climatologist, Trent Ford, locations north of I-70 could see freezing temperatures as early as next week.

Ford says the temperature threshold for frost is 32 degrees and 28 degrees for a hard freeze. The Wabash Valley is forecast to see overnight lows in the 30s by Sunday. Stay tuned to Classic Hits, WTYE, for the latest weather information.
