(Undated) – The latest numbers from the Crawford County Health Department show a current “active” COVID-19 count in the county of just twenty-seven. This as health experts nationwide are renewing the urgent call to get vaccinated as a new version of COVID spreads. It appears to move faster than the highly contagious delta variant. It first popped up in the U.K. over the summer and makes up eleven percent of cases there. But now it’s showing up in Nevada, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Washington state, and D.C. Experts confirm delta is still the dominant strain but warn it’s evolving.
