Pair of Vincennes Women Arrested Following Traffic Stop

(Palestine) – A pair of Vincennes women were arrested in Palestine yesterday following a traffic stop. According to Palestine Police Chief, Jeff Besing, at around 1:20 pm yesterday he initiated a traffic stop for Improper Display of Registration. Following the stop, Besing charged forty-seven-year-old Chastity Theriac for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Driving While Suspended. Her passenger, thirty-four-year-old Heather Brand, was arrested on a Class 4 Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both women were booked into the Crawford County Jail.
