Climate change and supply chain issues are leading to a Christmas tree shortage. Both natural and artificial trees will be in short supply this holiday season and what is available will cost more. Supply chain problems are slowing the shipment of artificial trees from factories in China to retailers across the nation. Supply chain issues coupled with weather disasters due to climate change are also slowing the shipment of a reduced supply of real trees to market.
