(Robinson) — An RHS Student-Athlete is working to bring tennis to those less fortunate in her home country. According to RHS Tennis Coach, Steve Jenkins, Zharina Stephens recently approached him with a desire to help a tennis camp in the Philippines.
Zharina says that tennis has meant a lot to her and she wants to make sure other kids in the Philippines have the same chance to discover the sport.
If you are interested in donating new or gently used tennis supplies, you are asked to drop those items off at the main office at RHS. Financial donations are also welcome. Jenkins says they would like to have all donations collected by the end of the month. However, they will continue taking donations through January 21st.
