(Undated) – The Crawford County Health Department is reporting a surge in COVID-19 cases. According to numbers released yesterday, forty-three new cases have been confirmed bringing our countywide total to seventy-eight. They also currently report one hospitalization as a result of the virus. The number of deaths remains at forty-nine. The CCHD, IDPH, and CDC continue to recommend that everyone gets vaccinated against COVID-19. While it cannot guarantee that you won’t get sick, it will greatly lessen your symptom severity.
