Inboden Faces Federal Meth Charges

(Lawrenceville) – A Lawrenceville man is making an appearance in federal court today on meth-related charges. According to the Department of Justice, fifty-year-old Aaron Inboden was charged in a two-count Indictment. Count 1 charges that from 2018, until on or about November 2021, in Crawford County, Inboden conspired to distribute five hundred grams or more of methamphetamine. Count 2 charges that on August 16, 2021, in Crawford County, Inboden possessed more than 50 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it. If convicted on both counts Inboden could face up to fifteen years in prison and fourteen million dollars in fines. The investigation was conducted by the Robinson and Lawrenceville, Police Departments, the United States Marshal Service, and the Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force. Assistance was also provided by the Crawford County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Lawrence County State’s Attorney’s Office
