(Undated) – The latest numbers from the Crawford County Health Department show “active” COVID-19 cases in the county remain in the triple digits. According to the CCHD, there are one-hundred-nine “active” cases. They also report two hospitalizations as a result of the virus. In other COVID-related news, the CDC is changing its COVID-19 vaccine recommendations to make it clear that the Moderna and Pfizer shots are preferred over Johnson and Johnson. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine has been linked to a rare blood clotting syndrome, which prompted the updated recommendation. Learn more at CDC.gov.
