(Undated) – Gas prices continued to trend downward over the weekend. According to the latest numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has dropped four cents from Friday to $4.24 a gallon. The statewide average in Illinois has dropped four cents from Friday to $4.50 a gallon and it’s down three cents a gallon in Indiana to $4.16 a gallon. Prices at the pump are an eye-popping $5.85 a gallon for regular in California. That’s the highest in America. Prices are lowest for drivers in Kansas where gas is $3.76.
