(Hutsonville) – The Newton Eagles jumped out to an early lead and never looked back on their way to a 9-1 win over the Hutsonville/Palestine Lady Tigers. Ilayna Sheets pitched all seven innings giving up nine runs including one home run on seven hits, walking two, and striking out thirteen. The Lady Tigers are set to be back in action tomorrow with a twin bill against Red Hill.
