Continued Rain is Keeping the Wabash Above Flood Stage

(Hutsonville) – The ongoing threat of wet weather will keep many area rivers above their flood stage. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, several rivers will either go into or remain in, “flood stage” through the middle of next week. They say the Wabash River at Hutsonville is expected to rise to a crest of 19.1 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below the flood stage of sixteen feet Wednesday morning.
