(Robinson) – The RHS Lady Maroons Varsity Softball Team hung up eleven runs en route to an 11-1 thrashing of the South Knox Spartans yesterday. RHS was able to put up two runs in the first, two in the third, three in the forth, and four in the fifth inning. Paige Sanders pitched all five innings giving up just one run on five hits, striking out nine, and walking two. With the win the girls improve to 6-2 on the season. They are slated to be back in action Thursday, when they hit the road to face Marshall.
