(Hutsonville) – The Hutsonville/Palestine Lady Tigers picked up a win yesterday and Izzy sheets broke a record. Sheets pitched all seven innings striking out twelve batters, allowing only one hit, and breaking the career strikeout record en route to the 2-0 shutout of Red Hill. According to Head Coach, Clint Corder, Sheets broke the record in just fifty-one games. With the win, the girls improve to 8-1 on the season. They are slated to be back in action this afternoon against Newton.
