(Undated) – Local authorities are teaming up for a “Drug Take Back” event later this month. However, they will not accept syringes. So what should you do with them? Blake Potts with Crawford Memorial Hospital suggests using a thick plastic jug, such as a detergent bottle or milk jug.
The “Drug Take Back” will be held on April 30th from 10 am – 2 pm at the East Entrance of CMH under the canopy. Potts says all medicine including over-the-counter, prescription, liquid, pill, and ointment will be taken, no questions asked.
