Maroons Rally Came Up Short

(Robinson) – A late rally by the Maroons came up short as they fell to Richland County 3-2 in Wednesday baseball action. Brayden Shipman was the starter and went two and two-thirds innings allowing two runs, walking four and striking out one. Marcus Nantz came out of the bullpen to pitch three and a third innings allowing one run on two hits, walking one, and striking out one. With the loss, the Maroons fall to 2-15 overall. They are 1-6 in the LIC. They are set to be back in action tomorrow when they host OPH.
