(Sullivan, In) – Sullivan County has a new Deputy Sheriff. According to Sullivan County Sheriff, Clark Cottom, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputy, Lukis Haddix, was sworn into the position earlier this week. Haddix is a 2017 graduate of Sullivan High School and was honorably discharged earlier this year after serving in the United States Army. Cottom says that Haddix will spend the summer learning his role and responsibilities at the Sheriff’s Office before attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in August. He says that Haddix has “law enforcement in his blood.” His father, Chief Deputy, David Haddix, retired from the Sheriff’s Office in 2015.
