(Undated) – May marks the beginning of the busiest time of year for moving, and the BBB wants you to protect yourself against scam moving companies. The Better Business Bureau reports nearly 1,100 complaints were filed with their office against moving companies last year, nationwide. Among the complaints are movers that never show up, day-of-move price increases, and even those that take your items hostage.
