(Undated) – The IECC is embracing “synchronous learning.” During their board meeting earlier this week the Illinois Eastern Community College Board awarded a bid for “synchronous learning classrooms.” Synchronous Virtual Classrooms operate much like traditional classrooms, with set study schedules and live discussions. However, they operate remotely. The IECC Board says that classrooms will be installed at various locations across the IECC District, including at fifteen of the area high schools and all four IECC campuses.
