(Undated) – Pediatricians across the country are warning against “homemade” formula. They say that internet recipes cannot recreate the precise nature of formula and the consequences of making your own could be fatal. Experts also warn against watering down the formula, as that too can cause health issues for infants. The good news for worried parents is that relief is on the way. The first batch of baby formula from “Operation Fly Formula” landed in Indiana yesterday aboard an Air Force C-17 cargo plane from Germany. The 78-thousand pounds of Nestle infant formula is the equivalent of more than a million-and-a-half eight-ounce bottles. More flights are expected in the coming days.
